Below is a description of each scholarship available to CVCC students and incoming high school seniors. Apply here.
CVCC Foundation General Scholarship: The student must possess at least a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicants not graduating from high school may submit a GED certificate. Applicant may be either new or continuing student at CVCC.
Susan S. Wiggins Community Service Scholarship is awarded based on volunteerism. The student must possess at least a 2.5 GPA or higher and contribute time or talents to at least one Chattahoochee Valley Area non-profit organization.
CTV Beam Scholarship is for students who plan to pursue a career in multimedia video program communications. The student must possess at least a 2.5 GPA or higher and have the intention of pursuing a career in multimedia video program communications. The student must have completed at least two semesters as a half-time student and successfully completed at least one VCM course.
Chattahoochee Valley Community College Foundation has scholarships available through the CVCC Foundation Sabal Trail Scholarship Fund to support students wishing to earn their degree in Applied Technology and gain employment. The student must possess at least a 2.0 GPA or higher and enroll in Applied Technology Program at CVCC. The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree plan must be Welding, Automotive Manufacturing, or Industrial Maintenance.
Public Safety Scholarship: The student must possess at least a 2.0 GPA or higher and enroll in the Fire Science Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or Emergency Medical Service certificate.
This Career Pathways Scholarship is for students enrolled in an Adult Education program who also wish to earn a career credential in a Public Safety or Applied Technology program. The students enroll in college courses at the same time they are enrolled in an Adult Education program so that they can reach their career goals more quickly.
Chattahoochee Valley Community College has scholarships available through the CVCC Foundation Scholarship Fund to support high school students wishing to enroll in a career/technical field such as Welding, Industrial Maintenance, or Emergency Medical Technician. Scholarships are available for dual enrolled high school students who have completed a Career Interest Exam, completed the 10th grade with at least a 2.5 GPA, and signed a Statement of Eligibility and Registration Form.
CVCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded on a semester-to-semester basis. Funds are paid directly to the College on behalf of the student. To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must have completed at least a 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in Liberal Arts or General Studies Program, and intend to become a teacher.
CVCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded on a semester-to-semester basis. Funds are paid directly to the College on behalf of the student. This scholarship is a payor of last resort for tuition and fees. All other scholarships and grants will be applied before this scholarship is awarded.
CVCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded on a semester-to-semester basis. Funds are paid directly to the College on behalf of the student. To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must submit a high school or college transcript reflecting at least a 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in a Criminal Justice Program, and intend to become a law enforcement professional.
