Welcome to your Career Path in Adult Education!
CVCC’s Adult Education program provides educational services to help students become career ready in a friendly, supportive environment. It is located in the Workforce Training Center at 3413 S. Seale Rd., one street over from the CVCC Bookstore. CVCC’s Adult Education programs help students reach their goals and improve workplace skills so that they can advance in their jobs and earn more money. Students can:
- earn a GED FOR FREE
- gain credentials that will help get a better job
- obtain higher levels of education and training at no cost
To be eligible for Adult Education, students must be:
- at least 16 years of age
- not currently enrolled in secondary school
- not have a secondary school diploma or its equivalent
Eligible students must live, work, or be enrolled in post-secondary education in Alabama. An exception to this qualification is if the student resides in Georgia but is referred by an Alabama Career Center to our program.
