Continuing education and professional certification classes are not eligible for federal financial aid such as Pell grant or loans. Certain classes are eligible through WIOA. To apply for WIOA, visit the Alabama Career Center located on CVCC’s campus in Brassell Hall -132. Their number is 334-214-4828. The eligibility process can take several weeks to complete.

Military students using Credentialing Assistance (CA) should see the Credentialing Assistance page for directions for obtaining quotes to submit for ArmyIgnited® process.

Certain industry credentials and/or certifications may be considered for college credit though prior learning assessments.

The CDL program is handled through the Career Center on the CVCC campus. The Career Center is located on the ground floor of Brassell Hall in room 132. Their number is 334-214-4828. Please note that this is separate from the Workforce Development Department of CVCC.

Students may withdraw prior to the first day of class via their registration link. No refunds will be given after the first class. All registrations will automatically be refunded in full for training cancellations due to insufficient enrollment. CVCC reserves the right to cancel any training that does not have a minimum of five (5) registrants. Every effort is made to notify registrants of cancellations prior to the start of training.
