The Automotive Manufacturing Program prepares individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills to identify and resolve production problems in automotive manufacturing. This program includes instruction in mechatronics, robotics, machine operations, production line operations, engineering analysis, systems analysis, instrumentation, physical controls, automation, computer-aided design (CAD), manufacturing planning, quality control and informational infrastructure. The program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree, a certificate, and a short certificate. The two certificates can be applied towards the A.A.S. degree. Earn all three for the price of just the A.A.S. degree!
Additionally, certifications offered in the Automotive Manufacturing program are:
- MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT)
- Lift Truck Certification
- 10 Hour OSHA
