The Fire Science program at CVCC is designed for individuals employed as firefighters or individuals seeking employment in the fire protection industry. Additionally, the fire science program prepares fire and emergency service personnel for advancement to leadership positions. The Fire Science program offers an A.A.S. degree, a long certificate, and a short certificate.

Courses offered online and in traditional classroom formats.

We are the only non-profit, accredited Fire Science program in Alabama.
