1. Open a web browser and go to:
2. https://cv.blackboard.com
3. In the box that says, “Sign in with third-party account”, click and select CVCC
4. You will then be taken to a new website that says “ellucian” at the top.  In the Username box, enter your entire student email address. 
5. Your login information for Pirate Web and Pirate Mail and Blackboard is as follows.
6. User ID: your entire CVCC email address
7. Password: !CVCCMMDDYY (where MMDDYY is your 6-digit birthdate).

Accessing the Blackboard mobile app for students

This is how you get the app: in the app store, search for Blackboard. This is the icon of the app you are looking for: https://help.blackboard.com/Mobile_Learn

Since we have a new, shared Blackboard, finding your school is different. You don’t look for your school at all! You search for: Alabama Community College System (ACCS)

Once you have picked ACCS, the login is like the Blackboard login: choose the 3rd-party login, and your CVCC email account and password.

And remember: the CVCC email, Blackboard and Piratemail are linked, they share a password. If you change your e mail password, that means the other two account now have a new password, too.
