Career Pathways TRACK Program
CVCC’s TRACK Program (Technical Readiness + Academics = Career Knowledge) is a series of programs and support services that enable students to gain employability skills. Career pathways allow students to earn college credit at the same time that they earn their GED.
Each step of the TRACK Career Pathway program prepares students to progress to the next level of employment and/or education. It targets jobs in industries that are important to local economies. The program allows concurrent enrollment in GED prep classes and college coursework in:
- Welding
- Logistics (MSSC – Certified Logistics Associate, Certified Logistics Technician)
- Industrial Maintenance (MSSC – Certified Production Technician)
- Nursing Assistant
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- North Star Digital Literacy Certificates –
*Alabama Career Essentials (ACE) Credential
